Amid the growing hype for Sonic the Hedgehog 2, a new poster for the film has been released.
As the first Sonic the Hedgehog film seemed to finally break the “movie adaptation of a video game” curse, it’s no surprise that the hype for the second Sonic the Hedgehog film has been huge, not least because Idris Elba’s Knuckles looks (and sounds) absolutely amazing.
A new poster has been released for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and it features some very interesting details. As always, the character designs for Sonic, Knuckles and Tails look flawless and Jim Carrey’s Dr. Robotnik is rightfully highlighted too. But what really has my attention is the poster’s focus on the Chaos Emerald.
If you remember, Chaos Emeralds are an Easter Egg reference in the first Sonic the Hedgehog film, and it’s really exciting that they’re being made central to the plot of the second film.
Between Chaos Emeralds and Idris Elba’s Knuckles (not to mention Tails!!) I’m really excited to see Sonic the Hedgehog 2 in a few months.
