After several teasers, DC has released the official teaser and poster for the Clayface movie and it looks terrifying.
We’ve received our first official look at Clayface, DC’s first foray into the horror genre. The film is set to be released on October 23, 2026 and stars Tom Rhys Harries in the title role.
For those who may be unfamiliar, Clayface begins life as handsome actor Matt Hagen, whose charmed life goes horribly wrong after an incident destroys his movie-star good looks.
Watch the trailer below if you dare, but be warned, the footage contains moments of body horror and it is not for the faint of heart.
Clayface is summarized as follows:
“Clayface” unravels one man’s horrifying descent from rising Hollywood star to revenge-filled monster in a story that explores the loss of one’s identity and humanity, corrosive love, and the dark underbelly of scientific ambition.
The film also stars Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella and Eddie Marsan, as well as Nancy Carroll and Joshua James. James Watkins directs from a screenplay by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini, story by Flanagan, based on characters from DC.
