The trailer spends most of its time explaining the backstory again, but does have some new potential easter eggs.
Over half the trailer recaps what has led up to the new movie. This of course means showing how Peter Parker / Spider-Man has been forgotten in this new world created due to his decision in the last film. Then the new segments slowly inch a little further into scenes we’ve seen in previous trailers.
One of the biggest moments in this trailer is clearly when he meets Scorpion and calls out to warn him and the response of Scorpion is “You think I’m Scorpion” in a rather odd tone during the fight. Of course the biggest hints of the film deal with mind games from an unknown character, so this tends to lead to a rather large clue in the scope of things.

About the film:
It’s a BRAND NEW DAY for Peter Parker. Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him—and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him—sparks a change in Peter he may not have the power to control. But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves – a powerful villain no one can even see.
The world may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn’t forgotten them.
Exclusively in Movie Theaters July 31, 2026.
