A24 pictures has been rapidly rising to the front of the pack when it comes to low-budget, “indie” styled film projects of all stripes lately, and they’re not showing any signs of stopping. Their latest project, Onslaught, pits standout Andor star Adria Arjona against the battle of her lifetime. Catch the trailer right here:
From horror movies to suspense and now action thrillers, this studio is truly looking to take on all comers with a vision and a plan to implement it. Arjona looks incredible as a leading woman already here, and while the more sci-fi elements baked into the plot could hurt or hinder the overarching themes, it certainly makes more a more hard-hitting action scene at least. Either way, this one could be one to watch out for.
Onslaught comes to theaters everywhere September 4, 2026. Directed by Adam Wingard with a screenplay by Simon Barrett, the film also stars Alex Pereira, Michael Biehn, Drew Starkey, and Reginald Veljohnson.
