It seems the Planet of the Apes story will continue, as Owen Teague as been cast in a new installment of the long-running franchise.
Deadline reports that Owen Teague has been cast to star in an upcoming installment of Planet of the Apes for 20th Century. There are no confirmed plot details about this movie, but it is known that Wes Ball was chosen to direct the film in 2019. Owen Teague previously appeared in It as one of the bullies who teased the Loser’s Club.
This will be the first Planet of the Apes film since War for the Planet of the Apes came out in 2017. According to at least one report, this film will be called The Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.
