We got the latest on the highly-anticipated reboot of the beloved 1986 film Highlander. Collider revealed exclusively that the legendary Russell Crowe has been cast for the film.
Crowe will be starring alongside film lead Henry Cavill as his immortal mentor. The movie follows an immortal Scottish swordsman who must confront the last of his immortal opponents.
The movie is being led by John Wick‘s Chad Stahelski. Stahelski told Collider in May during a conversation about the legacy of his iconic film series that Highlander would be shooting in September and likely release the film in 2027 or 2028 after being in development for almost 10 years.
