Saw XI is coming a lot sooner than we thought according to news that broke last night.

After Saw X blew past everyone’s expectations, most figured that a sequel would be on the way sooner rather than later. But I’m not sure anyone was expecting the news to come this quickly.

It was revealed in a post dropped yesterday evening that Saw XI is not only on the way, it’s coming out September 27, 2024. For those keeping track, that’s about a solid year after the release of Saw X.

Many were quick to note that this quick turnaround brought back fond memories of the height of the Saw franchise when we were guaranteed a new film each year. Perhaps those days have come again? Regardless, there’s now plenty of time to speculate as to what Saw XI will be about, though considering the previous entry left the main antagonist still breathing, it’s easy to guess what the film might cover.

What do you think of Saw XI coming out next year?
