The long-awaited Deadpool 3 finally has a director and it’s Shawn Levy.
According to an exclusive report from The Hollywood Reporter, director Shawn Levy is in negotiations to direct Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool in the long-clamored for Deadpool 3, a film fans have been itching to see ever since Deadpool 2 came out to rave reviews in 2018.
Levy and Reynolds have previously collaborated together on Free Guy and The Adam Project. If Deadpool 3 works out, this will be their third time working together on a film.
The script for Deadpool 3 is currently being written by Wendy Molyneaux and Lizzy Molyneaux-Logelin. It will be interesting to see how Deadpool 3 turns out as this will be the first Deadpool film to be released after Disney acquired 20th Century Fox. Hopefully Deadpool 3 won’t lose any of the brashness that helped make the first two films so popular.
