The legendary horror franchise led by visionary director Sam Raimi is back again. After the success of the last Evil Dead movie, Rise, proving the franchise can fly even without Raimi in the director’s chair, Warner Brothers and New Line Cinema have come together again to bring out yet another horror classic in the making with Evil Dead Burn. Warner released a brand new trailer today, but be fore-warned, it is not for the faint of heart (nor for safe viewing at work, probably):
For those who made this journey, welcome to the other side, I hope you came through without much lasting trauma. For those who decided against it, let me recap: It was, in essence, two minutes of jaw dropping visuals, bone chilling suspense and shocking violence. Those of you who find that worth watching are doubtlessly going to enjoy this one, and everyone else? Well, there’s always something else playing at the theater that weekend.
Evil Dead Burn is set to release in theaters on July 10, 2026. It is directed by Sébastien Vaniček and written by Florent Bernard & Sébastien Vaniček, and stars Souheila Yacoub, Tandi Wright, Hunter Doohan, and Greta Van Den Brink.
