Apple TV+ Reveals Trailer and Release Date for Upcoming Series ‘Silo’

Apple TV+ has revealed a trailer and release date for the new series Silo and it looks incredible.

Earlier today Apple TV+ released the first official trailer for the upcoming limited series Silo, which will have ten episodes in its first season that is set to premiere on May 5, 2023. The series is based on a book series by Hugh Howey and is set in what appears to be a post-apocalyptic future where the remnants of humanity live in a massive silo deep underground to keep them safe from the toxic surface. The only thing is….no one knows who built the silo or how long they’ve all been there.

There’s definitely a mystery at work as you can see in the trailer below:

Silo is briefly summarized as follows:

In a ruined and toxic future, thousands live in a giant silo deep underground. After its sheriff breaks a cardinal rule and residents die mysteriously, engineer Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) starts to uncover shocking secrets and the truth about the silo.

Silo features a star-studded cast including Rebecca Ferguson (Dune), Common (The Chi), Harriet Walter (Succession), Chinaza Uche (Dickinson), Avi Nash (The Walking Dead), David Oyelowo (Selma), Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation) and Tim Robbins (Mystic River).

Will you be watching Silo when it premieres on May 5th?
