David Krumholtz as Bernard the Elf

Is it Christmas in July? Because Disney is dropping some holiday cheer on us today.

Deadline is reporting that David Krumholtz will return as Bernard the Elf in The Santa Clauses, the Disney+ spinoff. Krumholtz reprised The Santa Clause role as head elf in the 2002 sequel.

Tim Allen is returning as Scott Calvin/Santa and Elizabeth Mitchell as Carol Calvin/Mrs. Claus when series premieres later this year. Other stars in the show are Elizabeth Allen-Dick as Sandra, Devin Bright as Noel, Austin Kane as Cal, Matilda Lawler as Betty, Rupali Redd as Grace and Kal Penn as Simon Choski.

The Santa Clauses will return viewers to Scott on the cusp of his 65th birthday when he begins to lose his Santa magic. The show goes on a journey with Scott to find a replacement Santa and to give his two kids, who grew up in the North Pole, a normal life. Jack Burditt (30 Rock, Modern Family, Frasier, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) is the executive producer and showrunner. Tim Allen and Kevin Hench (Last Man Standing),  Richard Baker and Rick Messina, and Jason Winer and Jon Radler for Small Dog Picture Company are also executive producing.
