Disney Reveals November Release Date for Zootopia+

During their Annecy Animation Festival presentation, Disney announced a premier date for the upcoming Zootopia spin-off series coming to Disney+.

While details are still slim, and we don’t have a trailer just yet, today brings a release date for Disney animation fans to mark down on their calendars for Zootopia+. During their Annecy presentation, Disney surprised guests with the first episode of the upcoming Baymax series, while also revealing a November 9, 2022 release date for Zootopia+.

Zootopia+ heads back to the fast-paced mammal metropolis of Zootopia in a short-form series that dives deeper into the lives of some of the feature film’s most intriguing characters, including Fru Fru, the newly married arctic shrew; Gazelle’s talented tiger dancers; and the sloth full of surprises, Flash.

No specifics were given about whether all the episodes are dropping at once on that day, but considering they’re a series of shorts, I imagine that would be the case (much like they did for Scrat Tales, Dug Days, and other short anthologies).
