‘FLCL’ is Being Revived by Adult Swim with Two New Seasons

Toonami and Adult Swim have announced that two new seasons of the classic anime FLCL are on the way.

It’s been announced that two new season of FLCL, also known as Fooly Cooly, are in the works. They will be known as FLCL: Grunge and FLCL: Shoegaze respectively. A brief teaser for FLCL: Grunge was released on Twitter along with a general release date of 2023.

For those not familiar, the original FLCL premiered in 2001 and followed Naota, a twelve-year-old whose life is shaken up by the arrival of the guitar-slinging Haruko. The series has maintained a following for years and there will surely be many excited to see FLCL returning to the airwaves with new seasons.
