Fox Renews ‘Krapopolis’ for Season 2 Ahead of Series Premiere in 2023

Krapopolis, a new animated series, is already being renewed for season 2 despite not premiering until May 2023.

It’s been announced that Fox has granted Krapopolis an early season 2 renewal. This is a remarkable development, not least because the series’ first season isn’t even scheduled to premiere until May 2023. The series comes from Dan Harmon, the co-creator of Rick and Morty.

Based on this trailer that was released several months ago, an early season 2 renewal makes sense as the concept of Krapopolis does look pretty funny.

See for yourself:

Krapopolis is set in mythical ancient Greece and tells the story of a dysfunctional family of humans, gods and monsters that try their hand at running the world’s first cities – without trying to kill each other, that is.

The series features the voices of Hannah Waddingham, Richard Ayoade, Matt Berry, Pam Murphy and Duncan Trussell.

Krapopolis will have its series premiere in May 2023. What do you think of the show receiving a renewal for season 2 already?
