Indiana Jones TV Series in the Works for Disney+

On top of fans getting a new Indiana Jones movie next year, Disney/Lucasfilm is working on making a new series for Disney+!

I’m both flabbergasted and thrilled by this news. According to an exclusive report from Variety, Disney is actively trying to put together an Indiana Jones show for the streaming platform. This is wild and insanely awesome.

Now, this is still VERY early, and Disney is still courting writers to take on the project. As such, there’s no telling what this series might cover. So it could be another prequel series like Young Indiana Jones, or may do something entirely different. Either way, it sounds like LFL and Disney are exploring multiple options to keep the franchise going in some form.

So yeah, we’ve still got quite a bit of waiting to do for this series from the sounds of it, but I’m excited to see they’re going to find a way to keep this world going even beyond Harrison Ford’s involvment.

Indiana Jones is set to hit the big screen once again next year on June 30, 2023.
