Ivanna Sakhno Joins the Cast of Star Wars: Ahsoka

Casting for the upcoming Ahsoka series on Disney Plus continues to chug along as another actress has joined the cast.

It’s always nice to get some Star Wars news, and with Ahsoka set to begin filming in just a few months, we’ll hopefully be hearing even more of it soon. Deadline is reporting that Ivanna Sakhno (Pacific Rim: Uprising) has joined the cast of the upcoming live-action series on Disney Plus.

At the moment, we have no idea which character Sakhno will be playing, but Deadline is confident she’s set to be a new character. Now, that could mean an entirely new character into the Star Wars lore (which would serve as a good viewpoint for newcomers), or it could simply be a new character in this medium, pulled from the comics or novels.

This comes on the heels of Natasha Liu Bordizzo joining the cast as Star Wars Rebels character Sabine, as the show prepares for filming this March. What type of character do you think Sakhno is playing?
