The live action Avatar: The Last Airbender series is set to return to Netflix in June, continuing the streamer’s successful run of live action adaptations of popular animated series.
In the new trailer, we’ve got a look at live-action Toph and her iconic mentoring of the Avatar Aang as the war finds its way to the Earth Kingdom. The second season of Avatar: The Last Airbender premieres on Netflix on June 25.
“To end the war, Aang must master earthbending — but in the Earth Kingdom, politics, secrets and hidden alliances are a battlefield of their own,” the trailer description reads.
The live-action adaptation has already been renewed for a third (and final) season, which Netflix says has already wrapped filming!
We learned last week that The Legend Of Aang: The Last Airbender, a film set in the years after the critically-acclaimed series ends, is delayed until October, according to Variety.
