Marvel’s ‘Ironheart’ Series Has Found its Directors, Ryan Coogler to Executive Produce

The directors have been chosen for the upcoming Ironheart series, with Ryan Coogler stepping in to executive produce.

As the Ironheart series comes together, it’s been learned that Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes have been brought on to direct. Bailey will direct the first three episodes, while Barnes will direct episodes four through six. Bailey is the co-creator of Brown Girls while Barnes has worked on One Day at a Time and Blindspotting, to name a few examples.

Ryan Coogler, along with his Proximity cohorts Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian, will serve as executive producers alongside Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum and Zoie Nagelhout.

Ironheart doesn’t have a release date yet, but it will be exciting to see what Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes bring to the series as directors.
