With the Devil May Cry animated series releasing on Netflix on April 3, 2025, the streaming giant has revealed the official trailer that is loaded with hints of what’s to come for the iconic demon hunter.
Dante is well-known as a demon hunter, it’s second nature to him after all with the demon blood he has inside him. But is he really ready for what he’s about to face?

Devil May Cry is one of my favorite video game franchises and I knew full well there were so many ways this series could go terribly wrong. But looking at this trailer, I think they just might have nailed it. Everything feels right. There’s a specific tone and feel to Devil May Cry that you need to have in any adaptation and this series has it.
