I’m stoked for this King of the Hill revival, I’ll tell you hwat.
The official social media channels for the show dropped the official first look at the new series, giving fans a glimpse at some of their favorite aged-up characters in their most iconic spot: the back alley behind Hank Hill’s house.
As you can see, Hank, Bill, Dale and Boomhauer appear to be in the same quaint neighborhood enjoying their Alamo Beer, though Arlen seems to have gotten some upgrades like food delivery via Mega Lo Eats and drone delivery a la real life Walmart.
Dale gives us a glimpse of change as he leans into VR and vaping (and somehow managed to survive all these years), while Bill looks exactly the same (we all know a guy like this, right?).
No official date for the series premiere has been released, but after years of speculation and rumors it’s been nice to see it all come to fruition. We’ll learn more about the revival when Mike Judge and the gang head to Austin’s ATX TV Festival for an official event on May 30.
