Some notable moments in the feature show us Mount Doom in a more familiar state, Sauron with his pet Fell Beast, and an epic confrontation between a Balrog of Morgoth and Sauron, who seemingly deflects the beast’s strike with Morgoth’s crown. It would seem the two’s alliance with the ancient enemy doesn’t make them allies.
