Season 2 of Marvel’s What If…? Gets a Trailer and Release Date(s)

Marvel has revealed the first trailer and poster for season two of their animated What If…? series, revealing all nine episodes will hit next month.

With Loki down and Echo having moved to next year, today brings our first look at what Marvel is bringing to Disney+ next, with the trailer for What If…? season two. The animated series returns next month on December 22nd and will release a new episode every night for nine evenings. Think of it as a Marvel Christmas gift every day leading into the New Year.

I freely admit I wasn’t huge into What If…? when it hit, but with the introduction of Kahhori (a Native American hero), I’m definitely all in on this season.

Season two of “What If…?” continues the journey as The Watcher guides viewers through the vast multiverse, introducing brand new and familiar faces throughout the MCU. The series questions, revisits and twists classic Marvel Cinematic moments with an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their iconic roles. Featuring fan-favorite characters this season like Nebula, Hela and Happy Hogan, episodes are directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews with executive producer AC Bradley as head writer.

Marvel’s What If…? season two debuts on December 22, 2023 exclusively on Disney+.
