The Twisted Metal Show Gets More Awesome with the Addition of Neve Campbell

Today brings word of another addition to the Twisted Metal live-action series, as Neve Campbell is set for a recurring guest spot!

I love Neve Campbell, and always excited when she gets new roles. After learning about Thomas Haden Church joining the cast of Twisted Metal yesterday, today they’ve revealed Campbell will “recur as guest star.” So I guess she won’t be in every episode.

The press release says Campbell is playing “Raven.” In the game’s lore Raven drives a haunted hearse (filled with angry souls), but the show is obviously changing things up so who knows if we’ll see that play out. Either way, I’m excited about this casting addition!

TWISTED METAL, a half-hour live-action TV series based on the classic PlayStation game series, is a high-octane action comedy, based on an original take by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool, Zombieland) about a motor-mouthed outsider offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With the help of a trigger-happy car thief, he’ll face savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road, including a deranged clown who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck.
