9 Minutes of Footage for Star Wars: Jedi Survivor Revealed, Looks Incredible

9 minutes of gameplay from Star Wars: Jedi Survivor have been released and it looks incredible.

We’ve got our first extended look at the gameplay from the upcoming Star Wars: Jedi Survivor and it looks to be everything we’ve been told it is and more. The footage in question is captured early in the game when Cal Kestis has crash landed on the planet Koboh.

You can watch the gameplay footage in the video below:

The gameplay footage looks stunning to say the very least and does a thorough job demonstrating what Cal will be able to do that’s familiar and new to players who may have already played Jedi: Fallen Order. I noticed that wall running has returned, along with some cool looking Force-related moves, including one that seems to freeze and/or dramatically slow down time for a moment to give Cal the advantage.

What really caught my eye with this section of gameplay footage however is all the battle droids Cal is facing. I wasn’t expecting to see a slew of B1, B2 and Commando Droids straight out of the Clone Wars but it was fun to see Cal fight them. I’m curious to know how all these droids are still active given the droid armies were supposed to be shut down in the wake of Order 66.

Star Wars: Jedi Survivor is now releasing on April 28, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S and Microsoft Windows.
