Bleach Potentially Getting New Console Game Soon

Bleach is one of my all time favorite series, and much like every other fan I’m totally hyped that it is coming back, and it’s coming backing in a big way.

Bleach is so close to returning and slowly merchandise and other products have been hitting shelves. Being a Bleach fan is getting better by the day, and now we might get a new game to get excited for too.

Asking creator Tite Kubo about the possibility of a new console game, separate from mobile, he mentions that he “has heard something along those lines.” To get you even more hyped, Bleach is hosting a panel at this years Anime Expo in Los Angeles in July. The event takes place on Saturday July 2nd, and promises to have new announcements for the series along with the voice cast of the show.

The last, and current game, Bleach Brave Soulswas released in 2016 and is still active to this day. It also got a port of to PlayStation not too long ago, and yes I’ve been addicted to it ever since.

The first Bleach title released on PSP in 2005, several follow up titles hit PS2 and GameCube in 2006, and the last release on consoles was 2010 with another PSP title. So much like the series itself it has been a while since we got to play anything in the Bleach universe.

Let’s hope we hear something at Anime Con, and lets also keep our fingers crossed that it isn’t just a fighting game like most Shonen titles. We want something like Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot!
