Among Us is getting an animated series by CBS.
As reported by Variety, Among Us has been greenlit for a new animated series. CBS animation studio Eye Animation Productions along with the games developers, Innersloth, has teamed up to create a new animated series. Infinity Train creator Owen Davis is in the “creator” position.
Only released so far is the series logline which seems to be pretty close to the game:
“Members of your crew have been replaced by an alien shapeshifter intent on causing confusion, sabotaging the ship, and killing everyone. Root out the ‘Impostor’ or fall victim to its murderous designs.”
Titmouse (Big Mouth) is set to be the lead animation studio. The writing is utilizing talent from The Animation Guild vs the Writers Guild, which is currently on strike.
