Feel the Dark Side with Revenge of the Sixth Toy Reveals

Celebrate “Revenge of the Sixth” with some new, villainous-themed, toy reveals from Hasbro and LEGO!

If you haven’t had enough Star Wars goodies to pre-order/buy over the weekend, there are some more surprises for you today. For Black Series collectors, Hasbro has opened pre-orders for two new releases: a Jedi: Survivor 3-pack (featuring new enemy droids) and an Emperor Palpatine with Throne.

I know many fans who’ll be interested in the latter, as the previous throne room release of Palpatine has been tough to come by and goes for ridiculous prices. As such, this gives collectors a new chance to snag one, with some swanky new packaging.

STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES STAR WARS JEDI: SURVIVOR 3-PACK ($69.99 / Available: Fall 2024)

STAR WARS fans and collectors can imagine scenes from the STAR WARS galaxy with this premium 6-inch STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES STAR WARS JEDI: SURVIVOR 3-pack, inspired by the appearances of the MagnaGuard, Super Battle Droid and Battle Droid characters in the iconic STAR WARS video game. In his fight to protect the galaxy, Cal Kestis must face a number of enemies – including reprogrammed MagnaGuards, advanced Super Battle Droids, and variant B1 Droids. Fans and collectors can display these fully articulated figures featuring premium detail and multiple points of articulation in their collection. Includes 3 figures and 3 entertainment-inspired accessories including a spear with lightning FX for the MagnaGuard, blast FX for the Super Battle Droid, and an axe accessory for the Battle Droid.

STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES EMPEROR PALPATINE & THRONE ($44.99 / Available: Spring 2025)

STAR WARS fans and collectors can imagine scenes from the STAR WARS galaxy with this premium 6-inch STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES EMPEROR PALPATINE & THONE pack, inspired by the character’s appearance in STAR WARS: RETURN OF THE JEDI. Emperor Palpatine manipulated the Galactic Republic’s political system until he was named Supreme Chancellor and eventually Emperor, ruling the galaxy through fear and tyranny. Fans and collectors can display this fully articulated figure featuring premium detail, photoreal design and multiple points of articulation in their collection. Includes figure and 5 entertainment-inspired accessories including his throne, two alternate portrait heads and a set of alternate hands.

Pre-orders for both of these releases are live now (via the links I’ve included above). But on top of that, LEGO has revealed a new Star Destroyer set as part of the 25th Anniversary line, which will include a Cal Kestis minifigure! While this isn’t on the massive scale as the previous Star Destroyer release, it does give fans a chance to pick one up and actually be able to enjoy some play time with it when it launches on August 1st.
