After years of waiting, delays, and hoping that the game wasn’t canceled, Skull & Bones is finally releasing on November 8th of this year! Though (at this time) this is no Collectors Edition planned for the game, Dark Horse is making a massive hardcover art book for the title.
Art books are very underappreciated forms of collector items, most of them tell a tale themselves of the progression and growth of certain games. One of my favorite art books in my collection is Dark Horse’s The Last of Us Art Book. The wonderful art depicted in this book from page to page tells the story of Naughty Dogs’ narrative journey in creating one of the best games in history!
Art Director of Skull and Bones Kobe Sek, had this to say about the upcoming books release;

Ubisoft and Dark Horse plan on telling their tale with the art book for Skull & Bones when it releases December 20th, 2022, and in comic stores on December 21st, 2022 for $49.99. Check back here in the next few months for more on this release and our thoughts on the art book itself!
