Deep Rock Galactic Spin-Off Reaches 500k Sales

It’s probably even more than that at this point, and it’s totally deserving!

On a blog post on the developers official Steam page, they announced the good news.

What a week it’s been. First of all, a huge thanks to all of you for making the early access launch exceed our wildest imagination. We never imagined the game would sell more than 500.000 units in just a week. We are humbled, grateful, and very very busy working on the game.

The game is a roguelite style game with auto shooter mechanics, a bit different than the core game in the franchise. But it does have ass kicking dwarves and other features like mining to really bridge that gap.

Thinking ahead, the developers note that the next update(s) will add new biomes, biome mutators, overclocks, and artifacts to create new build styles. Bosco, the in game mining robot, is also going to get an overhaul to become a more “centric part of the game.”

Further down the road the developers plan to add ” new mission types, bosses, daily missions, and more,” but insist that the full roadmap is always changing. They also noted a new area on their Discord where fans can suggest new features they’d like to see in the game.
