Gamers got a look at Bandai Namco’s competitive hero shooter Gundam Evolution during the March 2022 PlayStation State of Play livestream.

There will be three 6v6 game modes in the free-to-play game: point capture, domination and destruction and Bandai Namco will be launching season passes for the game.

Players will have access to classic Gundam units, including the RX-78-2 Gundam and ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos in addition to the MSN-04 Sazabi, MS-06 Zaku II, and System-∀99 ∀ Gundam. Developers said there will be at least 12 units on the roster at launch and players will be able to unlock more through in-game currency or with real money.

There will be a network test for U.S. and Japanese players in the Spring and Gundam Evolution  will launch on PlayStation consoles and PC later this year.
