We Love Katamari And Baten Kaitos Remasters Announced

During the Nintendo Direct we got two new remasters announced and coming soon!

Coming June 2nd to all consoles and PC (Steam) is WE LOVE KATAMARI REROLL+ ROYALE REVERIE. The remastered game adds new game modes and content to the classic title where you roll around collecting junk into a ball. New content includes a selfie mode, and an added Eternal Mode which allows you to explore without a time limit.

“With whimsical and still novel gameplay, a memorable soundtrack, and an unforgettable cast of characters, WE LOVE KATAMARI REROLL+ ROYAL REVERIE rolls up everything that made the series one of the most beloved into a new experience that newcomers and long-time fans can appreciate,” said Carolyn Chang, Associate Brand Manager for Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. “We’re thrilled to bring back this broadly acclaimed series and introduce a new generation of gamers to the inventive gameplay and engaging game world of KATAMARI DAMACY.”

WE LOVE KATAMARI REROLL+ ROYALE REVERIE launches for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Consoles, and Nintendo Switch on June 2, 2023.

Also announced is a remaster of the Gamecube games  BATEN KAITOS I &Ⅱ HD REMASTER. Both games are faithful remasters of the original games to bring them to current generation. A release window of Summer 2023 is set for the Nintendo Switch.

Players will have the opportunity to discover or rediscover the emotional journeys of the BATEN KAITOS series, which features distinct card-based RPG systems that allow for split-second decisions that edges participants closer to victory. Players will take the role of a Guardian Spirit and guide each game’s protagonist and their companions through their journey.

 

BATEN KAITOS: ETERNAL WINGS AND THE LOST OCEAN tells the story of Kalas who, while seeking revenge for the death of his brother and grandfather, meets Xelha as both embark on a journey to defeat the Alfard Empire.

 

BATEN KAITOS ORIGINS takes place 20 years before the events of the first game. The story involves Sagi, a spiriter that has a connection with Guardian Spirits who is part of the Dark Service, an elite unit of the Alfard Empire. Sagi sets on a journey to clear his name after being framed, and to unveil the empire’s secrets.
