With less than a week before the global release of Layers of Fear (2023), Bloober Team and Anshar Studios debuted a new, cinematic story trailer at the Future Games Show today, depicting the story of The Writer, the recently introduced a new protagonist in the series. Hers is a harrowing tale that ties each entry in the series together. Showcasing a mysterious lighthouse and alluding to past horrors, this trailer invites players to gain a glimpse of the terrors that await them when the game launches on June 15th for Windows PCs, Mac and current generation console hardware.
The trailer showcases how the new added content ties all the games together to create one cohesive experience. The game utilizes the new Unreal Engine with new lighting and visuals to go with the added content. It looks fantastic and we will have a review here on launch day!
