New F2P Multiplayer Game ‘Century: Age of Ashes’ Features Epic Aerial Battles on Dragons

You ever wondered what it would be like to ride a dragon into battle? Of course you have. Who wouldn’t? Well, French studio Playwing has debuted a game that makes that daydream into a reality with their new game Century: Age of Ashes. The reveal trailer was one of the few that kicked off The Game Awards.

Century: Age of Ashes is an upcoming Free-to-Play multiplayer game that allows players to experience epic dogfights on the back of a dragon. It’s currently in development with a team of 30 people and is set to release this upcoming February on Steam.

“Our desire with Century: Age of Ashes is to finally offer fantasy fans an action game starring dragons.” said the game’s Artistic Director, Pascal Barret. “Players are in for an epic, fast-paced, and immersive game featuring memorable combat and chases. From the initial beat of wings when taking off to the roar of victory at the end of a match, Century is an absolute rush for dragon fans and multiplayer gamers.”

The Free-to-Play game is set to be far from hollow. The game will feature 3 game modes: Carnage (Team Deathmatch), Survival (6v6v6 – Last Team Standing), and Raid (Capture the Flag), as well as 3 unique classes to play as: Shield and disorient as the Windguard, track and destroy as the Marauder, or stealth and trap as the Phantom.

Furthermore, Century: Age of Ashes will include plenty of customization to make your dragon and dragoneer look how you want. Customizable items are set to be unlockable with each new level earned. You’ll even be able to hatch new dragons with experienced earned in battle.

Century: Age of Ashes launches February 2021 on Steam. It will also release on the Microsoft Store and Epic Games Store, but at a later date. You can take part in the Closed Beta in January by signing up here.
