Gamers, the avalanche of video game releases has begun. October is utterly stacked with a number of highly anticipated releases along with some great titles that may be under your radar!

The blockbuster Assassin’s Creed series gets its latest iteration with Mirage, with other triple-A titles dropping like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake II, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Sonic Superstars, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, Detective Pikachu Returns, Forza Motorsport, and Just Dance 2024.

Sports game fans have some new annual releases this month with NHL 24, Cricket 24, EA Sports UFC 5, and Wild Card Football

PC gamers are in for some new entries into popular franchises like Cities: Skylines II, Total War: Pharoah, Wargroove 2, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. (Xbox Series X players will be happy about the last titles on that list too!)

It’s a good month for remasters as well, with Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1, Gargoyles Remastered, and the Company of Heroes Collection. Lords of the Fallen that releases this month may seem like it would be a remake since it shares the name of its original game that released almost 10 years ago, but it’s actually a brand new game in the same universe!

The Jackbox Party Pack 10 is dropping this month and just in time for party-hosters to add to their holiday entertainment lineup. Roblox  and Slender: The Arrival are releasing on PlayStation consoles, while Dave the Diver finally hits Nintendo Switch (buy ASAP friends!).
