The rumors just got even stronger that a revamped Red Dead Redemption could be heading our way soon.
Rumors of some type of re-release of Red Dead Redemption have been swirling for some time, but these rumors have gained some strength. Recently the game was rated in Korea and leaked online through several people. The interesting note with this leak though was the added description of “gore,” which only 3 other games in the rating system have, and one of them is Red Dead Redemption 2. This tends to lead us in the direction of remake vs remaster, as the game is potentially utilizing the new games dismemberment system.
Other leaks have been mostly through Rockstars very own website as they have either been very bad at hiding things, or are intentionally leading us on. In June the website updated to further reference the game, along with the games achievements getting an HD facelift randomly.
Now we are back to the website again where Rockstar has not only referenced the game with a new title, but also added a brand new logo you can see above. Found via a Twitter user, the update references “Rockstar Games Presents” versions of the game. The site also references “RDR1RSP” as a codename for the game.
It only took 8 days for the GTA remastered collection to be rated in Korea to Rockstar announcing the collection, so hopefully with the rumors getting stronger by the day we will hear something soon!
