You will get 6 playable characters and 4 Kameo’s to test the game out early next month.
It’s not too far away, but we finally got an official release date for the beta period of Mortal Kombat 1. Running August 18-21, the beta will be open for anyone that pre-orders the game on Xbox and PS5. This is following the already released playtest that was held in June.
The roster will include six characters including: Sub-Zero, Kenshi, Kitana, Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, and Li Mei. Along with them will be four Kameo characters: Frost, Sonya, Kano, and Jax.
During Comic Con the developers confirmed new playable characters Li Mei, Tanya, and Baraka, along with confirming classic Sub-Zero will be featured as a Kameo. Along with that, the first DLC package was revealed which will include: Ermac, Takeda, and Quan Chi, alongside guest characters Peacemaker, Omni-Man from Invincible, and Homelander from The Boys.
The game is set to release September 19th for current gen consoles and PC. Anyone that pre-orders the premium edition will get 5 days early access.
