During the Silent Hill livestream yet another Silent Hill project was revealed!
During the livestream a Silent Hill 2 Remake, a new core title in the franchise, and Silent Hill Townfall were revealed among behind the scenes for a new movie, and a couple smaller projects and merchandise.
Silent Hill: Townfall is a collaboration between Konami, Annapurna Interactive, and No Code studio (which has won a BAFTA award).
The trailer is pretty short and doesn’t show off much of anything, at least as far as we can tell on our first viewing. The director of the game has stated that you “should watch the trailer multiple times, you might have missed something.” The core of the trailer seems faithful to Silent Hill with what we assume is the main protagonist stating he is there to “be punished.” Silent Hill typically deals with mental states of people, and the director said that the game will be “a little bit different,” but remain faithful to the series.
