Sony Updated New PS Plus Launch Dates And Added New Regions

Sony has revamped PlayStation Plus for later this year which will include 3 tiers for users to choose from. In those 3 tiers players can now add PS Now to their collection and stream (or download) games in the collection.

Initial plans for the new PS Plus included a roll out throughout the year starting in June, but that time table has been moved. Up.

Sony announced that Asia markets will see the new PS Plus on May 23rd, with Japan following on June 1st. America’s will see the rollout begin June 13th, and lastly Europe will be June 22nd.

  • Asia markets (excluding Japan) – targeting May 23, 2022
  • Japan – targeting June 1, 2022
  • Americas – targeting June 13, 2022
  • Europe – targeting June 22, 2022

Additionally PS Plus will include the streaming tiers in new markets including Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Republic of Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
