Think Through the Apocalypse in First Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead Gameplay

If you were wondering how The Walking Dead franchise would fit into the Bridge Constructor game, today brings some lengthy gameplay to show it off.

One of the biggest (strangest) surprises from Gamescom this year came in the announcement of Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead. It seems like such a strange combination and hard to see how the two can meld together. Turns out, it looks pretty great!

Thanks to content creator, Kenny “Drae,” we’ve got a good amount of gameplay footage to enjoy. Showing off how hero characters will work, and the puzzle-solving aspects, there’s a lot to like so far:

Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead will be released later this year across all major systems, including the Xbox Series X, as well as PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. A version for PS5 will follow soon, cross-buy included!

Prepare for the ultimate mashup experience! Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead combines the legendary and challenging puzzle gameplay of Bridge Constructor with the post-apocalyptic universe of AMC’s The Walking Dead.

Join a group of survivors as they fight against hordes of undead walkers and a hostile human community. Build bridges and other constructions through bleak landscapes and ruined structures.

Team up with fan-favourite characters like Daryl, Michonne and Eugene, and create safe passage for iconic vehicles from the series. Use movable level objects, explosives and baits to your advantage as you lure walkers into lethal traps and guide your survivors to safety. Enjoy the physics-based frenzy and ragdoll animations as walkers succumb to the forces of gravity.

No release date just yet, but the game is expected to hit before the year ends.
