Two Tomb Raider Games Come to Nintendo Switch Next Year

Square Enix has announced that Nintendo Switch owners will be able to play Lara Croft and the Guardians of Light, and it’s sequel in 2022.

Today, Square Enix revealed some more Tomb Raider details as part of their 25th Anniversary Celebration. While we didn’t get any NEW game announcements, fans of the franchise will soon have a new way to play a pair of the older spin-offs.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris are coming to the Nintendo Switch, marking the first time the franchise has come to the console (which is a damn shame when you think about it).

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris are arcade-inspired action-adventure games that combine the hallmarks of Tomb Raider, including exploration and discovery, platforming, and puzzle solving, with co-operative multiplayer, character progression and fun fast-paced combat.

If that’s not enough for you, Crystal Dynamics is working with Prime Gaming to give subscribers (part of Amazon Prime) a free PC copy of Rise of the Tomb Raider! The offer is only good between November 1st through the 14th. To claim the free game, Prime members should go to https://gaming.amazon.com/, select “Games with Prime” and choose the title.
