LEGO has been doing neat little diorama sets for a while now, and I’ve always thought they were neat. Not only do you get the fun of putting together LEGO, the final result makes for an eye-catching piece pretty much designed for display. This is pretty ideal for collectors like myself.

Their latest diorama is a little bit different, however. Instead of pulling iconic sequences from the movies, this time around they get to have some holiday fun! Based off the delightful LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, this diorama is all about festive cheer:

Even though it’s a much smaller set, this one is a blast to put together. The small section packed with enough details to be instantly recognizable as the Falcon, while adding in some neat holiday themed elements to boot. It’s smaller scale makes it easy to add to your existing Christmas decor, and a $30 price tag is tough to beat for some unique minifigures.

All in all, I love this thing and look forward to putting it out with all my other decorations year after year. Hopefully this will start a new line of “sillier” Star Wars themed sets they can have fun with.

The LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama is available now, directly from LEGO.
