Hasbro is introducing a fun new twist on their Star Wars Black Series line with the reveal of the Holocomm Collection.
Look, I’m fully aware that I’m a sucker for these kind of toy gimmicks. Carbonized figures? I swear I’m the only one who likes them. Credit Collection? Hell yeah, gimme that repaint. Holiday themed? I love those ugly-as-sin figures. So yes, even as I know they’re shameless attempts at re-using the same scuplts, I can’t help but enjoy them.
Today, Hasbro has revealed (initially through Yahoo) the Holocomm collection series for the Black Series line. This time around, figures are giving the ‘hologram’ style painting along with a base that lights up and even features a 30-minute light display.
