Hasbro Reveals New Star Wars Toys for May the Fourth

Hasbro hosted a special livestream in honor of Star Wars Day (May the Fourth), revealing some upcoming toys for collectors.

As promised, Hasbro took advantage of Star Wars Day to announce some new figures for fans/collectors to drool over (hopefully). Here’s what they showed off:

First up, because it’s easier, is the A New Hope Collectible Multipack from the Retro Collection line. If you missed out on these individual releases, it’s a great time to get caught back up! These will launch later this Spring (coming in at $68.99) and will be available at Disneyland Resort on May 25th, and available for pre-order on HasbroPulse.com and ShopDisney.com on May 26th.

Next up, fans of The Vintage Collection have a handful of figures to look forward to. This Fall, two more additions to the Gaming Great TVC line arrive with the Heavy Assault Stormtrooper from Jedi: Fallen Order, and the Stormtrooper Commander from The Force Unleashed. Both of these are Fan Channel exclusives (Big Bad ToyStore, GameStop, Hasbro Pulse) with pre-orders going live tomorrow.

Later in the Winter brings Anakin Skywalker (Padawan), the Mandalorian Super Commando, and the Phase 1 Clone Trooper 4-pack for all your troop builders out there! Lastly, in Spring 2023, you’ll be able to get 332nd Ahsoka’s Clone Trooper. All of these are general releases and can be picked up at any general retailer.

For Black Series collectors (that would be me), there was also a few things to look forward to! You’ll be able to flesh out your Modal Node Catina Band with the introduction of Figrin D’an AND a deluxe Nalan Cheel figure. This one is pretty cool as it includes all the additional instruments, so you can essentially build out the entire band with some extra figures rather than doing all of them individually. Nalan Cheel is a Hasbro Pulse exclusive set to arrive this Fall, with Figrin D’an set for general release in Spring 2023.

Also coming in Spring 2023, we’re getting a New Republic Security Droid (from The Mandalorian) and Princess Leia in the Ewok Village attire. Glad to see another version of Leia getting out there, and impressed with how well the droid design has transferred.

Clone collectors will once again have to scour the aisles at Walgreens for the new exclusive 187th Battalion figure coming this Fall. Considering I still haven’t found LAST year’s Walgreens exclusive figure, I’m not exactly thrilled by this one. Alas…

Lastly, there are a pair of role-playing reveals centered on the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series. A new Black Series Vader helmet, along with the Force FX Elite series Obi-Wan Kenobi lightsaber, both of which are launching in Spring 2023.

Pre-orders for ALL of these (except the Walgreens one) are going live tomorrow, May 5th at 1PM ET. Which of these are you most excited to pick up?
