Next Set of Star Wars Essential Legends Collection Books Revealed

Del Rey has revealed the next slate of classic Star Wars books getting re-released under the new Essential Legends Collection banner.

Del Rey continues their campaign to take all of my money as they’ve announced the next wave of Star Wars titles coming to the Essential Legends Collection. This line up, which gives the older books a swanky trade paperback re-release with stunning new art, was announced earlier this year with the first few books arriving just the other week.

I love them. Since the books are a major part of my Star Wars collection, these editions have been something I’ve eagerly looked forward to. It also gives newer fans the chance to experience these awesome stories if they haven’t already.

Today, Del Rey has announced that September 7th will bring four more titles to the line up. This includes the final two books to complete the Thrawn Trilogy: Dark Force Rising and The Last Command. Also we’ll get the sequel to Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, The Rule of Two, and the first book in the iconic Rogue Squadron series.

Even better, there are still more to look forward to as Del Rey promises more Essential Legends will arrive in Spring 2022. Will you be picking these up in September?
