 One-liners can make or break a movie. If they’re too predictable or obvious to the audience, they seem like lazy writing. If they’re on-cue and witty, they can make you smile when there’s not much to laugh about. Dredd is 2012’s best example of the latter.

First look at Karl Urban as Judge Dredd doesn’t inspire confidence

Everybody knows that comic book movies are the big thing right now.  So while everyone has been getting pumped for the big releases from Marvel and DC, one comic book movie has been able to fly a little under the radar; Dredd.  Doesn't sound familiar?  Well it's a brand new adaptation of the Judge Dredd comics, but since they're trying to distance themselves from the terrible Stallone movie, they've simply titled it Dredd.  Apparently they've been working on it, without anyone noticing, and a new picture of Karl Urban has hit the net.
