Godzilla Writer Max Borenstein to Write Skull Island; Joe Cornish Being...

One of the genuine surprises from this year's Comic-Con is that Legendary Pictures announced a new King Kong project was in the works, that would serve as a prequel to the traditional Kong story.  At the time, the only information we had on Skull Island was a release date with no information on who'd be writing or directing the film.  Now we know one of those, and potentially the other.  Come inside to learn more!

5 (Mostly) Surprising No-Shows at SDCC 2014

Quick as it came, the San Diego Comic-Con is now behind us.  While there was plenty of things shown at the event for fans to digest, there were some notable absences as well this year.  Rumors had been swirling for months about what would be showcased, and now that the event’s over I was surprised at some of the no-shows.  

First Official Trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1!

SDCC has wrapped and given us plenty to chew on over the last few days, and now things are starting to pop up online that attendees were able to see already.  As promised, Lionsgate used the venue to release the first real trailer for the new Hunger Games film, Mockingjay Part 1 and now they've debuted it online for the whole world to see.  Come inside to check out the first real look at the film.

Mad Max: Fury Road Comic-Con Trailer Released Online

Some of the biggest buzz (aside from Batman v. Superman) coming out of Warner Bros. SDCC panel yesterday came from the footage and details regarding George Miller's new Mad Max film.  While we saw the posters yesterday, it looks like Warner Bros. has decided to share the film's first trailer with everyone now.  Come inside to check it out!

Monster Madness! Legendary Announces Godzilla 2 & a New King...

If you're a fan of monster movies (like me), then you'll be pretty happy with what happened during Legendary's SDCC panel.  As rumored, they announced Godzilla 2 and even confirmed that Gareth Edwards will be returning to direct it.  Better yet, they even revealed which monsters will be making an appearance this time that classic Godzilla fans should be happy about.  Need more movie monster action?  A new King Kong project is in the works that will take us back to Skull Island.  Come inside to learn more!
