Adult Swim Gifts Us Rick and Morty Season 5 Trailer and Release Date

The undeniably Ricktastic, Emmy-winning, eyebrow-raising animated comedy Rick and Morty returns with Season 5 on Sunday, June 20.

Created and executive produced by Dan Harmon (Community) and Justin Roiland (Solar Opposites), Rick and Morty sees genius scientist and sociopathic grandpa Rick Sanchez (voiced by Roiland) drag his awkward and nervous grandson, Morty (also voiced by Roiland – I know, isn’t it great?) on dangerous, out-of-this-world adventures. When they’re not encountering alternate realities, disturbing the universe and frolicking about on intergalactic escapades, Rick and Morty return to “normal” life with mom Beth (voiced by Sarah Chalke), dad Jerry (voiced by Chris Parnell), and sister Summer (voiced by Spencer Grammer).

To commemorate the return of Rick and Morty, Adult Swim has designated a Multiverse Holiday to be celebrated on June 20 that will henceforth be known as “Rick and Morty Day.” Release day will see fans treated to “a megadose of access and content of all things Rick and Morty”—including behind-the-scenes footage, sneak peaks, and a few special surprises—which will be shared across social media as the Season 5 premiere rolls out around the world.

The full schedule of premiere dates for Rick and Morty can be found within the official Season 5 trailer. Check it out below!
