It’s been a long time coming since the original announcement back in April of 2025, for the port of Elden Ring to the Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo Switch 2 players who have been waiting for Elden Ring to come to the console can finally rest easy, as Bandai Namco has officially announced that Elden Ring Tarnished Edition will be coming out on August 28, 2026.
This release will include the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, featuring a new epic adventure that deepens the original story. With it, players can also look forward to additional new content, such as new starting classes, new character armor, and the ability to customize Torrent, your Spectral Steed.
These new additions will also be available for purchase on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when they release on August 28.
