We got a taste of the highly-anticipated Dave the Diver In The Jungle DLC in the best kind of way through the PC Gamer Show at Summer Game Fest: A live action trailer was produced in partnership with The Asylum, the creators of the iconic Sharknado franchise.
“Bringing the insanely creative world of Dave the Diver into live action was an amazing experience,” Sharknado franchise filmmaker Anthony C. Ferrante said in a news release. “The game itself is fun, crazy, silly and action packed and to be able to capture the essence of the world and these fantastic characters in close partnership with Mintrocket was an incredible experience. We really hope fans of Dave the Diver enjoy the jungle adventure we’ve prepared for them.”

Dave is leaving the Blue Hole behind. And this time, the jungle calls. Join Dave and friends as they head deep into the wilderness to uncover the mysteries of Utara Village. A freshwater lake, ancient ruins, and secrets no one saw coming await beneath the surface.
The hotly anticipated ‘In the Jungle’ expansion sees Dave venture into all new territory, as he embraces new freshwater responsibilities, meets strange yet lovable locals, connects with old friends and explores unfamiliar waters filled with new flora and fauna. This all-new story-based experience launches with around 10 hours of content and introduces daring new encounters, mechanics and mini-games not seen in the base game or previous DLCs.
The Dave the Diver In The Jungle DLC will release on June 18 on all platforms.
Fans of Dave the Diver were given a first look at the world premiere of Bancho the Chef during PlayStation’s Summer Game Fest showcase, a spinoff prequel about the life of Dave’s favorite sushi chef.
