Fortnite is all in on Star Wars and it’s not even May the Fourth. Instead, May 2 is gearing up to be a great precursor to your May the Fourth celebrations.
You’ll be able to immerse yourself in, not only the start of the Star Wars battle pass in Fortnite, but also have a chance to catch a world premiere in game. Fortnite announced that on May 2, the first two episodes of Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld will premiere in game two days before the show hits Disney+ on May 4.
The premiere will begin on Fortnite’s Star Wars Watch Party island at 10 a.m. EST/9 a.m. CST, according to Fortnite’s blog post on the event. The island will be live until May 11.
When you watch both episodes, you will unlock the Asajj Ventress Loading Screen in Fortnite within 72 hours, the company said.
“This watch party is more than just a theater though,” the blog post says. “Go to the Battle Arena and take up blasters and lightsabers against incoming waves of enemies! (No player damage here, just for fun.) As you explore the island, you can earn points by doing different things. Try to get first on the leaderboard versus everyone else on the island with you!”
You can also unlock the First Order Stormtrooper Outfit by connecting an eligible Epic and MyDisney account. You have until August 31 to redeem the outfit, and Fortnite says it “may be purchasable in the Fortnite Shop at a later date.”
The outfit comes with a Fortnite Style and a LEGO Style.
